Escarpment Update
This morning, a cement truck was at the waterfront, and the application of shotcrete appeared to be underway.
The word is that the team who will be applying the "tinted and sculpted sprayed concrete" meant to make us believe we are looking at natural Ordovician shale hasn't yet arrived on the scene. Let's hope this is the case, because what's going on now is the same schmutzy black stuff that was applied to a different part of the rock face last summer.
