The Wick Hotel posted the news on Facebook this morning that Mel the Bakery is opening this weekend at 324 Warren Street, formerly the location of Breadfolks. You can read all about it in this article from NY Eater: "Why One of Manhattan's Best Bakeries Moved Upstate."
Good news, Bread Folks is much missed, so welcome Mel the Bakery. But please be open more than Saturday and Sunday, a lot of us live here full time.
