🏞️ What a treat and asset for all... hopefully one day there can be some connection between an expanded Bronson House and its surrounding grounds and Olana
ReplyDeleteWatching the catastrophic wildfires in Los Angeles makes me worry about the risk wildfire could pose to Olana. There's a lot of accumulated brush and dead trees on the ground at Olana.
ReplyDeleteThe climate is changing, and severe drought is becoming more common in the Hudson valley. I hope the fire hydrant system at Olana is well-maintained and tested on a regular basis and that brush and fallen trees are managed by OPRHP in strategic areas near flammable wooden buildings.
