Six Degrees of Mill Street:
- HCSD held the deed - mayor Kamal put it in play through back channels with HCSD - Kearney is trying to buy it - mayor Ferris extended the contract with no Council vote on record. - Charles Williams Park (was /is Spark of Hudson redevelopment site?) - the NYS Empire State Trail's end - Kite's Nest's new (mostly) $7 million tax funded youth center - the Second Ward's artist museum (creatives) - and one small nondescript building holding, some would say, most of Hudson's secrets under lock. - the HDC helped sell the properties to the new homebuilders - families that represent the vibrancy of Hudson. - and a dog park.
One street, every institution, most cultures, and nobody dealing at arm's length.

What's next, will Matt Murrell (County Chairman) buy a plot of land there?
Will Quintin Cross somehow use it to raise money for the next HCHC board retreat to Mexico?
What are the implications for loss and memory and the cemetery?
