All's Well That Ends Well

Last Friday, an SUV jumped the curb at the Amtrak station and broke one of the iron stanchions that supports the roof over the platform. Earlier this week Gossips got word that the stanchion had been repaired perfectly, leaving no telltale evidence of the mishap. Today Gossips went down to the station to check it out and can attest that all the good reports are true.

Thank you to Amtrak, Peter Wurster, and everyone else who had a role in bringing about this swift and uneventful happy ending for our historic train station.
