More Treated Toxins into the Kill

Barbara Reina reports today in the Register-Star that a fourth 20,000-gallon tank of treated toxins began being released into the Valatie Kill on Thursday: "Fourth tank discharging into kill." The toxins, being treated at a new water treatment plant, are from the Dewey Loeffel Toxic Landfill, a Superfund site in Nassau, in Rensselaer County.
