Recalling the 1960s

Inspired by Lynda Blackmon Lowery's memoir, Turning 15 on the Road to Freedom, which will be presented this afternoon at 3 p.m. at Montgomery C. Smith Intermediate School, a group of Hudsonians who had been actively involved in the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s, gathered last Thursday, February 4, at the Hudson Area Library to recall and share their experiences. Dan Udell recorded the event, and the video can now be seen online.
