The weather forecast for the weekend is dismal--an 80 to 90 percent chance of thunderstorms on Saturday and Sunday. The predictions were menacing enough to cause the Black Arts & Culture Festival--an event that has been months in planning--to be postponed.
In spite of the predictions of wretched weather, there is one promise of delicious fun. On Saturday, from 11:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., Olde Hudson is having an ice cream tasting in the shelter of its covered porch at 449 Warren Street. It's your chance to sample the award-winning, super premium SoCo Creamery ice cream, which Yogi, the official Olde Hudson canine taster, has judged to be "Delicious!"
Guess who else will likely show up at Olde Hudson on Saturday to sample the ice cream and offer his opinion.
We'll see you there!
