Yesterday, EATER New York published this news: "The Meat Hook Is Opening Two New Butcher Shops." The following is the article's opening paragraph:
The Meat Hook--the whole-animal butcher that specializes in pasture-raised, grass-fed meats that first debuted in Williamsburg 15 years ago--is opening two more butcher shops this spring, one in Carroll Gardens, and the other in Hudson, New York.
The Meat Hook will be located at 322 Warren Street, where Mel the Bakery recently opened on the lower level. Brent Young, the owner of the Meat Hook, is quoted in the article as saying he is excited about the Hudson space "because it will allow for the Meat Hook to carry products that 'don't make their way down to the city.'" The butcher shop is expected to open in the spring.
Thanks to Janet Schnitzer for bringing this to Gossips' attention.
