Minutes ago, the news was shared on Facebook by Brian D. Decker, Jr., and Unfiltered Hudson NY Community Board that the stretch of Harry Howard Avenue which has been closed since March 16 is now open!
That information and much more is available for free to anyone who has the Hudson Hub app. You can get updates straight from the source rather than waiting for them to filter through social media or blogs. The Harry Howard reopening was announced at 1:56 today.
? The Hub had it at 1:56 compared to “minutes ago” as of this 2:48 post (as of 4 pm, the Facebook post is tagged as “1h ago”). It doesn’t really matter but it’s a pretty easily confirmable point.
Mystery solved; the in-app alert was posted at 1:56, but the app’s email wasn’t sent until 2:40. So if residents want the quickest news, downloading Hudson Hub and turning on notifications is the way to go.

ReplyDeleteActually, Facebook beat Hudson Hub on this one.
