As part of the celebration of Frederic Church's 200th birthday, Hudson Hall is hosting the premiere screening of Language in Landscape: The Art of Frederic Church, a short documentary by The Olana Partnership and WMHT Public Media.
Featuring rare archival materials and interviews with leading experts, the film explores Church's iconic paintings and his enduring influence on how we understand art, nature, and landscape. A post-screening conversation follows with Sean Sawyer, Elizabeth Kornhauser, and Victoria Johnson, moderated by director Catherine Rafferty.
