This morning, the Planning Board voted 6 to 1 to grant site plan approval to the Hudson Housing Authority plan for redevelopment. Only Peter Spear voted no, maintaining, as he has all along, that what was proposed was "unacceptably institutional."
Good for Peter for sticking to his guns and reading the plan correctly. This half-baked, half-funded "plan" is destined to be a mess for the City (and its taxpayers) to shoulder for the next half century. The PB blew it on this one.
