News on City Signage

Remember the row of signs at Rick's Point warning "No Vehicles Beyond This Point." They were installed, thoughtfully, to keep people from driving their vehicles into the river. The signs are gone now, replaced by boulders to accomplish the same purpose more naturally and less offensively.

Based on the experience of the "No Dogs Allowed" signs in Seventh Street Park though, one wonders if the "No Vehicles Beyond This Point" signs are going to reappear someplace else in the city.

  1. Anyone would jokingly answer the question of the signs' reappearance at great risk. I came up with some absurd replies, but later decided that any of them might be acted upon!

(p.s. Thanks Gossips for the earlier hat tip. Sometimes a a dram of science is just what the doctor ordered.)

    1. Yes, I should have added that. I agree it's an improvement.
