There is an article in today's New York Times about the controversy over the communications tower proposed for Blue Hill, which was approved by the Livingston Planning Board but is now being challenged in court by The Olana Partnership and Scenic Hudson: "Fight Over Communications Tower Unsettles the Hudson Valley." The writer, Lisa W. Foderaro, reveals an enviable naiveté about life here in the our rural environs when she reports that "a fight . . . has roiled through the usually serene landscape of Columbia County, where sharp elbows are reserved for vying over the ripest peaches at local farm stands."

"Enviable naiveté"!
ReplyDeleteFunny!
It seems that many people want an item, a service or system but not the required hardware or way of producing/delivering it.
ReplyDeleteSo, is there another way to deliver communications other than a "tower"?
