Parking Tonight

I just got a call from a neighbor (bless her heart), worried that the Gossipsmobile, parked on the odd side of the street when tomorrow is an even day, might get ticketed. For anyone else with similar concerns, know that the eve of Labor Day is one of the eight holidays on which alternate side of the street parking is suspended. As a reminder for the future, here's the whole list, provided to Gossips last year by Common Council president Don Moore. Note that these are all the eves of the holidays:
  1. New Year's Day
  2. Presidents' Day
  3. Martin Luther King Day
  4. Memorial Day
  5. Independence Day
  6. Labor Day
  7. Thanksgiving Day
  8. Christmas Day
