Flooding in Hudson

The editors of Hudson Common Sense were out and about early this morning surveying the flooding. Mill Street, where the addition of a 70-unit apartment complex has wrongheadedly been proposed, is completely impassable.

Dock Street as it approaches North Front Street is also closed because of flooding.

  1. Uncommon Question:

Would the Mill Street apartment complex have been approved (or the new extension contract signed by Mayor Ferris) if the Planning Board / Mayor actually lived on Mill Street?

  2. Has Rob Perry ever said that there's nothing DPW can do about solving the flooding problem there?
