It's a glorious day, and the evening promises to be just as lovely--perfect for walking on Warren Street, visiting galleries, and maybe winding up someplace for dinner.
Downstreet, BeLo3rd is presenting its ART/DINE Gallery Stroll, with eight restaurants and seven galleries participating. Upstreet, from 6 to 8 p.m., there's an opening at McDaris Fine Art, 623 Warren Street. The new exhibition is made up of recent paintings by Kim Bach and the new photographs by Miami photographer Ariel Baron-Robbins.
Also upstreet, from 6 to 8 p.m., there's an opening at the always intriguing HuMP (Hudson Museum of Photography), located at 552 Warren Street. Currently being exhibited at HuMP are a group of oil paintings by Lucien Rees-Roberts, done over a series of summers on a remote island off the coast of Croatia. The exhibition, which opens tonight, continues through December 29. During that period, HuMP will be open from noon until 5 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday.
