By now, it's not breaking news. It's been reported everywhere. But, for those of us who have been listening to his music since the early 1960s and are growing old with him, it's kind of a big deal. Today, in Stockholm, Bob Dylan was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature for "having created new poetic expressions within the great American song tradition."
