Scenes from an Installation

On Thursday night, the installation of The Warren Street Project at Vincent Mulford Antiques, 419 Warren Street, began with moving in and assembling the platforms that would hold the photographs, expertly crafted by Eric Penderleith. Members of the Historic Hudson board, Alan Neumann and Peter Watson, were there to help out, as was Ngounga Badila. The artist herself, Lynn Davis was also present to witness the first step of the installation.

Yesterday morning, the photographs went in, and today all is in readiness for tonight's gala opening reception for The Warren Street Project.

Tonight's event is sold out, but the exhibition will be in place through the entire month of October to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of Historic Hudson, the renaissance of Warren Street over the past twenty years, and the power of historic preservation to drive revitalization. The exhibit is free and open to public from noon to 5 p.m. on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during October.
