Yesterday, I returned from an appointment in Albany (an excursion that took four hours and prevented me from attending all three of the meetings that happened between 3:00 and 7:00 p.m. yesterday) to find that my computer had turned itself off and refused to restart.
This morning, Jonathan Simons, of Jonathan's Computers, diagnosed the problem: the hard drive had died. So now, with a brand-new hard drive, Gossips is struggling to get back to where we were yesterday.
My apologies to my readers for the silence, and my deepest thanks to Jonathan Simons for getting Gossips back on track.
We've all been there, Carole.
ReplyDeleteGlad I could help Carole. We need our Gossip.
ReplyDeleteYes, that familiar feeling of panic when a computer malfunctions - lucky we have Jonathan!
