  1. Some one in City Hall had their thinking cap on, finally. Clearing one side at a time on Warren Street instead of both sides in one night is so logical and reasonable. Also a first in my 23 year memory. Thank you to the new administration!

  2. Is it too early to say "thank you!" to DPW, HPD and the Mayor's Office who all worked / are working, together closely to keep the roads open.

The DPW drivers must be low on sleep and high on patience. Thank you.

And to all the Karens (what is the male version of a Karen, Ken?)... residents have 24 hours after the last snow fall, and 12 hours on Warren St, to clear sidewalks.

    City Code: (§ 253-1 and § 253-2)

  3. 6th street feels backwards. we were all parked on the even side on monday and the odd side got thoroughly plowed. tonight they want us parked on the even side, which is an absolute mess.

this feels backwards and the overall experience feels quite reactionary and not proactive at all :/.

    1. I agree it seems backward, but since it means I can leave my car parked where it's been since 8:00 a.m. yesterday morning, I'm not complaining. (I realize not everyone enjoys the luxury of being able to hibernate in this brutal weather.)
