Parking Tonight

If you're wondering on which side of the street to park your car tonight, the answer is . . .  whichever side you want.

Although the summer suspension of alternate side of the street parking requires that you revert back to the regular rules on Sunday night, Memorial Day is one of the eight holidays on which alternate side of the street parking is suspended. The Police Commissioner's order, provided to Gossips by Common Council president Don Moore, states the following:
Alternate Side of the Street Parking will be suspended on the eve of the Following listed Federal Holidays and there will be no enforcement on same. . . .
  1. NEW YEAR'S DAY
  2. PRESIDENTS' DAY
  3. MARTIN LUTHER KING DAY
  4. MEMORIAL DAY
  5. INDEPENDENCE DAY
  6. LABOR DAY
  7. THANKSGIVING DAY
  8. CHRISTMAS DAY
