Gossips was focused today on things that had to do exclusively with our little city, so the goings-on at the Columbia County Board of Supervisors were left to others. Driving upstreet on State, on the way from Bliss Towers to City Hall, Gossips noted that the southeast corner of State and Fourth streets was lined with people holding signs that read "Save Our Nursing Home." At that same time, this was the scene inside 401 State Street, as people waited for the supervisors to arrive in the legislative chamber from their various caucuses.
