A Book of Oral Histories

Billy Shannon, former Register-Star reporter, has in the past year been interviewing long-time residents of Hudson, Germantown, Red Hook, and other nearby towns and recording their oral histories. He has published some of these interviews on his blog Hudson River Zeitgeist, but all seventeen interviews will soon be available in a limited edition book, Hudson River Zeitgeist: Interviews from the Year Two Thousand Fifteen.

The book will be available in late December, and the only way to get a copy is to purchase it in advance through an Indiegogo campaign. Your contribution will not only get you a copy of the book but will also fund the continuation of Shannon's oral history project. When you visit the Indiegogo page, be sure to watch the very nicely done video, edited by Travis Bleen.
