On the First Day of the Return of Standard Time

Stash your zombie gear and grab your tweeds (and your bicycles). The fourth annual Tweed Ride, organized by Lisa Durfee, proprietress of Five & Diamond, is happening today.

The ride begins at 3 p.m. at the western end of Warren Street, beside the Chamber of Commerce building at 1 North Front Street, and proceeds for three miles through the streets of Hudson. A rain date has been set for November 8, but it's not likely it will be needed. The weather forecast on WAMC just predicted that any chance of rain would end at 2 p.m., at which time the sun would come out and the temperature would rise to 60 degrees.
