Two new documents relating to the proposed Colarusso haul road have recently appeared on the City of Hudson website. The first is a letter, dated January 4, 2017, from Patrick J. Prendergast, the engineer employed by Colarusso, to Ed Stiffler, chair of the Greenport Planning Board. The second is the most up-to-date set of "Roadway Improvement Plans Quarry to Dock," originally created in July 2009 and revised in November 2016.

There should be no further obstructions to our "permanent" easement. One that is attached to the deed and continues to affect the land through subsequent changes in ownership.
ReplyDeleteIf CSX were persuaded to run in third and under second, Hudson could remove all of the rail west of third street. Colarusso would never be seen or heard again. And the sunny side of Warren would gain access to all of the south bay preserve by a mile of the existing riverside drive.
