Dan Udell's video of the Hudson Housing Authority presentation to the Planning Board about the proposed new low-income housing buildings is now available on YouTube. Click hereto view it.
There's an interesting discussion at about minute 50 about what the housing needs are in Hudson and whether the proposed project is designed to meet those needs. These are good questions, but they are ones that the City should have immediate answers to. Again, another argument for the City to have a Housing Commissioner, so our agencies, like the Planning Commission don't have to continuously re-invent the wheel. We had a Housing Task Force, for example, that should have the information at its fingertips. Please, let's get our act together.
