After 27 years, we have decided to semi-retire from our business here in Columbia County. We will be closing the Hudson Store located [in Greenport] in the Corner Plaza at the end of August. This is a bitter sweet moment for our family, so much of our lives have been spent here working in this community. . . .
We will continue to serve the area from our newly expanded Catskill Store, located at 3 Boulevard Avenue, in Catskill. The store is located directly next door to the Key Bank branch and across from Young's Hardware Store. The store can be reached by calling 518-943-1919.
We will also be offering everyone, for the month of August, a 20% discount on all our existing Hudson Store inventory. This is a great opportunity to stock up on your favorite food items and save some money. . . .

ReplyDeleteAll these businesses getting out of run down plazas (owned by TRG of Albany), often with enormous potholes at the entrances. This latest closure should come as no surprise. Aldi's (moved), Salvation Army, Big Lots, Price Chopper, etc... Who's next, Shop Rite? Joann's?
