The Albany Business Review today published information on home sales in the fourth quarter of 2014: "The Albany region's hottest local housing markets." Among the 4,500 ZIP codes in the country considered in the analysis, 12534 ranks 472. And it is among the sixteen hottest housing markets in the Capital Region. (Click on the chart below to enlarge.)

The Hudson ZIP code--which also includes a large piece of central Columbia County--had topped these rankings in the third quarter, but saw its average list price dip by almost 30% between Q3 and Q4. Sales prices also grew more moderately over the last three months of 2024.
