This was the scene in Council Chambers, as people waited for the meeting to get underway.
About ten minutes into the meeting, Theresa Joyner, who chairs the Planning Board, announced that Colarusso would not be discussed at the meeting, but there would be a public hearing on the subject on April 10 at the Central Fire Station. Later on in the meeting, she said the location of the public hearing had not yet been confirmed.

Was Colarusso CUP on the posted agenda? The common council typically posts its agenda ahead of time does the PB not do this? was there a public comment period?
ReplyDeleteThe Planning Board does publish an agenda. The one for last night can be found here: https://cms3.revize.com/revize/hudsonnynew/Boards%20and%20Committees/Planning%20Board/2025%20Agendas/Agenda%203.11.2025.pdf. The agenda, after you get past all the statements about decorum and escrow, is basically a laundry list of projects before them. I have found it cannot be relied on to indicate exactly what will transpire. In fact, last night, there was a presentation at the very end of the meeting that hadn't been listed on the agenda. I'll be reporting on that soon.
