At the end of February, the Historic Preservation Commission granted a certificate of appropriateness for the demolition of this house at 309-311 Union Street.
This morning, the demolition began. The picture below was taken at about 11:00 a.m. At this point, the addition to the house, what might be called the east wing, has been removed.
