Ear to the Ground

Gossips' sources confirm that, after months of uncertainty, the sale of 542 Warren Street to Duncan Calhoun and Russell Gibson is going forward. One of the conditions of the purchase is that the City of Hudson agrees to lease sixteen parking spaces in the municipal parking lot behind the building for the exclusive use of hotel guests. Mayor William Hallenbeck indicated yesterday during his interview on @Issue that the City was amenable to this. It appears that Hudson is going to get a much needed boutique hotel after all.

  1. Yeah, we need this hotel so badly, not enough B & B's to keep up with demand and if Celebration of Celts comes back it will be a God send for our performers. Anne Macpherson
