In Memoriam

Tom Davis, one of the original writers for Saturday Night Live and the taller half of the comedy team of Franken and Davis, who lived near Bells Pond and was a frequent presence in Hudson, died of cancer yesterday. His obituary appears in the New York Times. Sam Pratt has a remembrance on his blog: "So long, it's been good to know 'ya."

  1. Tom Davis said it all in the "Loss" issue of Our Town. I'm trying to put the link here. http://www.ourtownonline.org/issue23/index.html

  2. What a sad loss to start the day. Probably why it's raining. God is crying about Tom's passing. Some of my most enjoyable Sunday evenings at the bar in Ca Mea were sitting with Tom, eating, drinking and laughing. We had lots to talk about since I was a two-time winner from cancer. I will miss those wonderful evenings. Goodbye Tom and sweet dreams old friend.

  3. Tom also used the text Debby references (a link to it can be found in my post) for his Incident Report installation on Warren Street last year:
