Keeping the Faith for the Furgary
Timothy O'Connor, advocate for the preservation of the Furgary Boat Club, positioned himself on the sidewalk in front of City Hall tonight, holding a sign that commented on the City's recent action to evict the Furgarians from their fishing shacks in North Bay. O'Connor was there when people started arriving for the Common Council meeting, which started at 7 p.m., and he was still there when the meeting adjourned shortly after 8:30. He reported receiving lots of support from passersby during his vigil.
Thanks Tim for fighting the good fight and not
