Mardi Gras in Hudson

Hudson doesn't have a Mardi Gras parade (it's too cold for such things in these Northeastern climes), but that doesn't mean there won't be ample opportunity tomorrow night for excess and revelry.

From 5 to 7, feast on pancakes at Christ Church Episcopal. (Another name for Mardi Gras is Pancake Tuesday.) For a mere $6 ($4 for children under 12), get ready for Lent by indulging in pancakes and, if you're so inclined, sausage and gravy.

From 8 to 10, play Match Game at (p.m.) Wine Bar with Trixie Starr and be rewarded with cookies from Trixie's Oven. (Another name for Mardi Gras is Fat Tuesday.) Winners win cookies, losers get cookies, and everyone has the chance on Shrove Tuesday (yet another name for Mardi Gras) to experience, to quote Trixie, "the most fun you can have, legally, on a Tuesday night in Hudson."
