Francesca Olsen has an article in today's Register-Star about the Columbia County Board of Supervisors' change of attitude toward 25 Railroad Avenue: "BOS interest in DSS building grows." Three years ago, the building was too small, too old, too problematic, but now it's starting to seem just right. The article quotes BOS Chair Roy Brown as saying: "I think we'd be foolish not to look at what could be the best route for our taxpayers." Which route was it that took us to Ockawamick?
The article also contains some memorable quotes from Mayor Rick Scalera, who wanted the building for the Hudson police department and city court.
