Anyone listen to NPR this morning? A story about three tribes, the Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara, who're about 150 miles west of the Standing Rock Sioux, and who have a, let's say, more nuanced view of the Bakken oil pipelines which traverse their reservation.
I've said for years that if we're too pure, too absolute, and too uncompromising, then we'll end up with every pipeline imaginable, and Bakken oil barges on the Hudson River too.
And now that's exactly what's going to happen, which is a pretty high price to pay for our moral vanity.
