Cicada Sighting in Hudson

I saw my first cicada today--the first in 2013, that is--when one landed on the windshield as I was parking my car this morning at the Hudson Farmers' Market.

    The 17 year Cicadas are swarming all over the South Greenport, Olana area, millions of em' Quite the show.

    Take a drive along 9W from Catskill to Saugerties. Its a four mile cicada symphony.
