At last night's Common Council meeting, Council president Don Moore indicated that two topics of great interest will be taken up at committee meetings this month. 

• The issue of the truck route through the city will be discussed at the Economic Development Committee meeting on Thursday, June 20, at 6 p.m.
• The question of ownership of a 4.3-acre parcel of waterfront land, raised by The Valley Alliance, will be considered in the Legal Committee, which meets on Wednesday, June 26, at 6:15 p.m.
