Something Else to Ponder

Two months ago, Chris Gibson defeated Sean Eldridge to win re-election as the representative from New York's 19th Congressional District. Yesterday, it was reported that he is expected to announce his retirement today. Apparently, he intends to finish out his current term, and one source indicates that he is interested in "running statewide" in 2018. Does that mean he's contemplating a run for governor?

  2. The fact that Mr. Gibson voted to oust the weeper of the house, speaks volumes for the Congressman. Three cheers for next state senator.
