Bingo Madness

One thing that emerged from the ninety minute Common Council meeting on Tuesday, the video of which can be viewed here, is that attendance for the senior programming currently offered at the Youth Center is down from its usual peak turnout of thirty-five. The reason given: Bingo has been curtailed because the frequency of games played by seniors at the Youth Center exceeded what the NYS Gaming Commission allows for unlicensed games. Bingo, it seems, was the big draw.

  1. Well rumor has it that Greenport Sr. Center has an increase in attendance due to Hudson Srs. traveling there from "The Friendly City" aka Hudson.
    Might any confirm the rumor?
