In my earlier post about the DRI open house and the draft plan, I reported that "just about everything proposed still seemed to be on the table." I have since learned that three of the thirty-three projects proposed are not included in the draft plan. They are: 260 Warren Street, because it is not in the BRIDGE District; the Tannery High-Rise, because it was not a stand-alone project sought to be part of the Kaz redevelopment; and the Tool Library, because the project sponsors decided that it may not be ready to launch quite yet.
I have also learned that the final meeting of the Local Planning Committee has been rescheduled. It will not take place on Tuesday, February 20, in conflict with the February Common Council meeting. Instead, it will be held on Thursday, March 1, at 6 p.m.--in conflict with absolutely nothing on the City calendar--at John L. Edwards Primary School.

In reply to an earlier post, I too heard Steve Kearney say that a "meeting in early March" would be a public meeting. But now I'm not so sure what a "public meeting" is.
