Something New Coming to Hudson's East End
If you've been wondering about the fate of the buildings on upper Warren Street that once housed Jim Godman's Keystone Antiques and were most recently the locations of Crimson Sparrow and Bonfiglio & Bread, there's news.
The buildings were for sale, but yesterday, as Joey and I made our way home from our evening walk in the cemetery, we noticed the word "SOLD" written on the front windows.
Late last night, all was revealed in a post on TKG Real Estate's Facebook page. The post reads in part: "There could not be a better new owner. The closing was this morning [Wednesday] and by afternoon work had begun on the renovations. These buildings are now in the right position with the right people to be the strong 700 block anchors they should be."
It remains to be discovered who the new owner is, but I personally hope there are no plans to change the exterior paint colors.
