New Decade, New Ladder Truck

On December 17, the Common Council unanimously passed a resolution authorizing the issuance of serial bonds in an amount not to exceed $1,087,500 for the purchase of a new ladder truck, the maximum cost of which is $1,440,000. Yesterday, the Hudson Fire Department announced that it had awarded a contract to E-One to build a new aerial truck for the City of Hudson.

The new truck is expected to be delivered early in 2021. The ladder truck now owned by the City was purchased in 2001.
