What a Difference a Century Makes

Yesterday, Kamal Johnson was sworn in as mayor of Hudson before a standing room only crowd at Hudson Hall. The Register-Star, Lance Wheeler, and Dan Udell were all there to document the event, and their videos can all be viewed online.

A hundred years ago, Dr. Henry Galster, who has been mentioned more than once on this blog, became mayor of Hudson. His taking office merited only a brief mention on page five of the Columbia Republican for January 4, 1920.
