In the summer of 2017, Columbia-Greene Media launched its new HudsonValley360 website. When that happened, the entire digital archive of the Register-Star, going back to 2002, disappeared. If you were desperate to find an article from that period, you could go to NewsLibrary.com, search the Register-Star archive, and pay a fee to read the article.
Recently, Gossips discovered, quite by accident, that the archive is accessible once again at the HudsonValley360 website. I don't know when it happened, but after four and a half years, it's back.
