Meetings of Interest in the Week Ahead

Indigenous Peoples Day is coming to an end, Yom Kippur is behind us, the concrete blocks marking outdoor dining areas are soon to be removed, and the leaf peeping season may have already peaked. Meanwhile, here's what is happening on the meeting front in the week ahead. 
  • On Tuesday, October 11, Hudson Community Development and Planning Agency (HCDPA) holds its monthly meeting at noon. The meeting is a hybrid, taking place at City Hall and on Zoom. Click here to join remotely.
  • At 2:30 p.m., on Tuesday, October 11, the Board of Estimate and Apportionment (BEA) meets to consider the proposed budget for nondepartmental expenses. The meeting takes place in person only at City Hall.
  • Also on Tuesday, October 11, the Planning Board meets at 6:00 p.m. The agenda for the meeting, which can be found here, includes public hearings on the subdivision proposed for 6 to 12 Hudson Avenue and the proposed redevelopment by the Galvan Foundation of the Community Theater as Hudson Forum.   • On Wednesday, October 12, the Hudson Industrial Development Agency (IDA) meets at 9:30 a.m. The meeting is a hybrid, taking place in person at 1 City Centre, Suite 301, and on Zoom. Click here to join the meeting remotely. 
  • At 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 12, the Common Council holds its informal meeting for the month. So far, there's not much on the agenda for the meeting, but that is sure to change. The meeting will be a hybrid, taking place at City Hall and on Zoom. Click here to join the meeting remotely. 
  • On Thursday, October 13, the Board of Estimate and Apportionment (BEA) meets at 2:30 p.m. to receive the proposed budgets for the cemetery and water and sewer. The meeting takes place in person only at City Hall.
  • At 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 13, the Common Council ad hoc Truck Route Committee has its monthly meeting. The meeting is a hybrid, taking place in person at City Hall and on Zoom. Click here to join the meeting remotely. 
  • On Friday, October 14, at 10:00 a.m., the Historic Preservation Commission holds the first of its two monthly meetings. The meeting takes place in person only at City Hall.
