The Columbia County Department of Health has released its numbers for the past week. Between January 30 and yesterday, there has been another death from COVID-19 in Columbia County. There are three more county residents hospitalized with COVID-19 today than there were a week ago, but there is one fewer in the ICU.
A year ago on February 7, the CCDOH reported a death from COVID-19, 53 new cases, and 178 active cases. There were 21 county residents hospitalized with COVID-19, and one was in the ICU. The total number of deaths in Columbia County attributed to COVID-19 at this time last year was 134, seven more than the previous week.
