Despite the groundhog's prediction about winter earlier this month, the mild weather is expected to continue all week. In this unusually warm week in February, here are the meetings that are happening.
- On Monday, February 13, the Common Council holds its informal meeting at 6:00 p.m. So far, there's not much of interest on the agenda, but that is certain to change. The meeting is a hybrid, taking place in person at City Hall and on Zoom. Click here to join the meeting remotely.
- On Tuesday, February 14, the Planning Board meets at 6:00 p.m. Among the items on the agenda are a public hearing on the proposed subdivision on Hudson Avenue, the continuation of the review of the proposal to convert 735-737 Columbia Street into the new location of Lil' Deb's Oasis, and a proposal to convert the church building at Sixth and Columbia streets into an event space with a commercial cafe on the lower floor. - On Wednesday, February 15, the Zoning Board of Appeals meets at 6:00 p.m. At this meeting, the ZBA holds a public hearing on an amended use variance application from Hudson Mansion Partners LLC for the hotel to be developed at 601 Union Street. The meeting takes place in person only the City Hall.
- On Thursday, February 16, at 7:00 p.m., the Columbia County Democratic Committee hosts a judicial candidate forum with the three Democratic candidates for county judge. The forum takes place on Zoom. Registration is required. Click here to register.
