When there is no pressing news to report, Gossips often turns to old newspapers to find something interesting or amusing to share. Today was one of those days. Searching the Hudson Evening Register for March 6, 1873, I discovered this little item. It not only provides evidence that 150 years ago March 6 was a similarly slow news day but also shows how the local press dealt with such days back then.
